Assica organized on Wednesday, March 8, the round table discussion “Sustainability: different roles, same goals.”
The meeting, which was attended by the European Commission authorities most relevant to the agri-food sector and featured closing remarks by Deputy Permanent Representative Amb. Stefano Verrecchia, aimed to stimulate – starting from the commitments and best practices contained in the “ASSICA Sustainability Program” – a dialogue around the sustainable transition of the sector and a proactive discussion on the necessary role of EU institutions as a decisive support for this process.
