06/15/2020

The Commission today launched "Re-open EU", a web platform containing essential information that will allow free movement and tourism to be relaunched safely across Europe.

Designed to help people plan trips and vacations in peace and quiet during and after the summer, the platform provides real-time information on borders, available means of transport, travel restrictions, public health and safety measures, such as physical spacing or use of masks, as well as other practical information for travelers.

"Re-open EU" serves as a key point of reference for anyone traveling to the EU, since it concentrates the updated information provided by the Commission and the Member States in one place.

Interested parties can consult the information relating to each EU Member State via an interactive map which illustrates updates on applicable national measures and offers practical advice to visitors from the country concerned.

The platform is easily accessible on desktops and mobile devices by clicking on the "Re-open EU" link: https://reopen.europa.eu.

The "Re-open EU" platform and the information it contains are available in all the official languages of the European Union.
